These are the file types and icons for Plaque Simulator version 5.

Patient setup & prescription files (xxxx.iplan) save patient identifiers, ocular anatomy, tumor, anatomic landmarks, plaque location and isotope used, viewing angle, isodoses, etc... Every saved plan requires at least this file. |

Plaque files (xxxx.iplq) save just the currently active plaque by itself. You can add plaque files to your Plaque Files menu for fast access by storing them in the Plaque Simulator Data:Plaques folder. |

Inventory files (xxxx.invy) save the present state of the active inventory. |
|
|
Isodose files (xxxx.idos) save the current isodose values to plot. |
|
|
Color files (xxxx.iclr) save the current isodose colors. |
|
|
A 2D dose matrix file (xxxx.im2d) saves the active 2D dose matrix to a binary file for export. |
|
|
A 3D dose matrix file (xxxx.im3d) saves the 3D matrix to a binary file for export. |

Plaque Simulator's original help file (xxxx.ihlp) is located in the Plaque Simulator Data:Help folder. The primary user guide which you are now reading is an HTML web site. A copy is found in the Plaque Simulator Data:(User Guide) folder. |

Plaque Simulator's preference file (xxxx.iprf) is located in the System:Preferences folder. |

PICT files created by Plaque Simulator have this icon. PICT images save the contents of the Image window as a PICT2 file including some private calibration data in the file header. You can also capture any Plaque Simulator window using command-F13 and export it in a number of Photoshop 32 bit graphic file formats (eg. .jpg, .tif, .bmp, .pct etc...). |

Files of type 'DICM' and creator 'IPLQ' will have this icon. When importing DICOM files to be used by Plaque Simulator into your MacOS computer you can assign them these type & creator values. The current release of Plaque Simulator can open most DICOM files, but does not yet support the exporting of DICOM files. |
