You can indicate that a treatment is to be delivered BID using the check box near the # Fractions data field or in the course calendar window. For 70 fractions of 115 cGy (80.5 Gy) given twice daily (BID), 6 hours apart, 5 days per week the biologically effective dose is 89.76 Gy(10.0) for early effects and 111.36 Gy(3.0) for late effects (if repopulation is ignored). This treatment is "hotter," ie more effective than a conventional regimen for both acute (early) and late effects.
